The Jury Room
C B. Gilford
This jury play has unusual audience appeal in that members of the audience are summoned as jurors and their verdict actually does determine the outcome of the trial.
Bill, a college student holding a number of part-time jobs, is accused by one of his employers of the theft of an unsealed envelope containing three $100 bills.
He doesn't deny that he had access to the money.
The witnesses called to testify for Bill are contradictory.
It is a fine play with illuminating overtones on law and circumstantial evidence.
Bare stage w/props.
