Synopsis
The National Theatre of Brent returns with almost certainly one of the most profound yet at the same time highly popular oeuvres ever known in the entire British Theatre - The Messiah.
The entire company of two, led by artistic director Desmond Olivier Dingle and his complete ensemble, Raymond Box, re-enact the entire Christmas story, including all of the best-loved characters, Joseph, Mary, and Archangel Gabriel, Herod, God and many more.
First performed to massive and universal acclaim in 1983, the new Messiah is a radical yet deeply moving updating of the original award-winning text, including many specially researched brand new sequences culled from the very latest biblical findings.
