Synopsis

Short Dramatic Comedy / Samantha and her elementary school chorus are invited to sing in "The Magic Mall" at Christmas time.

Samantha has brought her mother's antique doll for the baby Jesus in the manger, but the doll disappears.

While the children try to find the doll they have some enlightening encounters into a number of strangely dressed people including a man and his pregnant wife, a shepherd, and three wise men.

They also have some hilarious encounters with a gorilla, two jugglers, a disgruntled Santa Claus, and Elvis Presley, among others.

For children of all ages, this play is a great intergenerational activity for those in the audience and especially those on stage.

In previous productions many parent-child combinations have been involved.

(Casting: 8m, 5f, 5boy(s), 7girl(s))
