Synopsis

For Jackie, Diane and Jessica, the arrival of The Fiance is a major big deal.

Diane's stepsister is getting married, the first in their families, and the young girls are very curious.

But for some unknown reason, Diane, age 15, refuses to meet him, or even go to their wedding!

Her decision has broad ramifications in the family and her younger sister Jackie and cousin Jessica try to get to the bottom of it.

What could make her refuse to meet someone she's never even met?

This insightful one act play puts the spotlight on what was the age of innocense, the emotional relationship between these girls, and how they all perceive the institution of marriage.
