Synopsis

Every now and then, a play comes along, and all we can say is that it is a winner.

Perched at the end of a rickety old pier on the banks of the mighty (ugly) Cuyahoga River, in Cleveland, is Maggie.

She is seventeen, blessed with determination and a rich imagination.

With Maggie is her grumpy, blind companion, Bird.

Maggie is driven by a vision: a vision of a fish in the Cuyahoga, waiting for her to catch it.

Great character roles.

Highly recommended for competition use, or for university or community theatre groups.
