Secret Lives of the Sexists

Synopsis

In this "farce of modern life" from the master of The Ridiculous, anthropologist Buddy Husband and his feminist wife, Nadine, are in the midst of a trial separation when Buddy discovers Nadine's long-lost mother - stripper Zena Grossfinger - and finances her beauty salon.

Buddy's brothr Izzy is having troubles of his own with his wife, Fanny, which are only complicated by Fanny's misunderstanding of Buddy's relationship with Zena, who is concealing her identity until she feels worthy of presenting herself to her daughter.

The plot is further complicated when Buddy discovers Nadine in flagrante delicto with Phil Landers, Zena's assistant.

This Ridiculous tangle is only exacerbated when the three men get into drag to infiltrate a feminist rally staged by Women Against Stenography.
