Synopsis

Marcia Ward returns from attending a fashionable wedding in a nearby city to find that Uncle Bill had lost heavily in the stock market.

The situation is particularly embarrassing because she has brought home a guest, a charming Italian whom she met at the wedding.

Many complications follow as the family tries to keep its best foot forward.

Marcia's home town beau, disgruntled because of her new interest, connives with the arrogant Aunt Victoria to prove that the count is an imposter.

The latter disappears suddenly and so does a valuable diamond pin.

In the end the family fortunes are restored in a surprising manner and Rick returns to prove his identity.
