A Night Like This

Synopsis

In the world of shady night clubs, we meet a gang of bad men headed by an all round tough named Edgar Pryor, who runs a gambling house, has a car stealing business and is not averse to throwing in a murder or two just for the fun of it.

Pryor has a hold over a sweet young actress named Cora Mellish and it is in order to extricate her from her difficulties that Clifford Tope pokes his romantic but preposterous nose into this den of thieves.

Michael Marsden, an Irish policeman arrives for a different reason; he is after the car stealers.

The two join forces and though they are at cross purposes with one another, they manage to round up the gang.
