Little Snow Girl, The
Nellie Mccaslin
In the dead of winter, when the temperature drops below freezing and the days drag on in one endless gray blur, there are two words that every student longs to hear: SNOW DAY!
In this collection of snowy scenes, we’ll see what students (and a few teachers and administrators) get up to when school gets cancelled.
From a scared sledder in “Out Cold” to a beleaguered babysitter in “Blanket of Snow”, to some role-playing paladins in “Winter is Coming” and a snowy mix-up in “Snowball Effect,” these scenes and more are sure to bring some frosty fun to your stage with a whole lot of humor and a dash of heart.
And with a minimal set and super flexible cast, this one-act play will be a fun and easy way to remind audiences of the magic that can only be found on a snow day.
