Synopsis

Ada Kahn has married Dave Simmonds who had fought in the Spanish Civil War.

Dave's unable to talk ideals—he must live them.

Disillusioned with men and orthodox political activity, Dave and Ada move to the country where they attempt to live out an experiment in simple socialism.

After thirteen years, they acknowledge failure and return to London.

But in terms of personal fulfillment—can it be called 'failure'?
