Synopsis

What mysteries are held in the moon?

In the great beyond?

This play is an engrossing coming-of-age story about two teenage boys who want out of their lives: Hal, who wants to escape an abusive father, and Scooter, who wants a fresh start with people who won't judge him because of his chemical imbalance.

On top of this, Scooter's mother must come to grips with the real reason why Scooter's father left them.

The play captures in moving detail that painful and heady time when a young person realizes he must create his own life -- that he is no longer defined by his history with his parents.

The three roles are a perfect challenge for young, talented actors.
