Synopsis

Margaret Foster is a high school career girl who learns the price of success when faced with a choice between entering a State Drama Tournament and accepting the sponsorship of the high school basket ball team.

At the risk of losing all her friends and the prestige of a social leader of the school, she elects to follow her star and enter the drama tournament.

When she wins the tournament, success and achievement are in her grasp but she has made her sacrifice too and learns that the creative artist must always give up the lesser triumphs for the goal ahead.

It is written in the high school vernacular, the scene is the characteristic high school meeting ground Pop's Malt Shoppe and the characters are all high school students with the single exception of Pop.
