Town That Couldn't Have Christmas

Synopsis

Purses are fat with money, but a little old lady who begs for a bit of food is turned away from every door.

The Christmas Way has been lighted but our little old lady warns they should not expect Him to walk where there is only selfishness.

She is right, for the town is plunged into darkness.

Candles will not burn, trees wither, the tinsel grows black, the bells will not ring, and gifts give nothing but pain.

When the town has atoned for its selfishness, Christmas comes back and the Christ Child reigns supreme.
