Boy Who Wouldn't Play Jesus, The
Bernard Kops
"There are a lot of people who are going to completely ignore Christ this Christmas season .
.
.
right?" And, there will be a lot of people who will think about Christ .
.
.
but only after they've thought about presents, food, and everything else .
.
.
right?
These are the words of a 15 year old boy who is searching for the real meaning of Christmas.
Billy first appears in this drama as a seeming rebel against Christianity and the church, but this false front is discarded as he opens up his heart and mind, asking pertinent questions which are familiar ones to many teenagers today.
That Stupid Christmas Play is a christmas play written by Carl Mays and published by Samuel French (1969).
