Shred of Evidence

Synopsis

The news of a fatal hit-and-run accident became more than just shocking as Richard Medway began to remember the events of the night before.

All the pieces fitted together and pointed towards his guilt.

He was a truthful and reasonable man, but he could not remember having an accident.

The chips of green paint on the dented fender and the remaining protective metal strips were neatly removed and destroyed.

Richard's lawyer, believing him to be innocent, advised him to ignore the threats of blackmail from the man he had driven just before the accident.

The tension builds and builds in the Medway household until Richard is forced to make a confession to the Police Inspector.

The Inspector's reaction and another shred of evidence form the ending to this suspense filled mystery.
