Synopsis

A riotously funny comedy with a gallery of unforgettable characters, published here in a revised version alongside its revival at the Tron Theatre, Glasgow, in 2003.

It's Ann's wedding day - but she's in two minds who to marry because there are two men in her life and they are both called Billy.

Meanwhile her daughter Mandy wants to save souls - and makes a start with Charlie, who is on the dole and on the make.

And then there's Nanette and her friend Prophet John...

Soon there are nine characters in search of their souls, some sex and a wardrobe.

Chris Hannan's play Shining Souls was first staged at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, in 1996.

It was revived, in this revised version, at the Tron Theatre, Glasgow, in 2003.
