Ready for the River
Neal Bell
Mort Rivera, a down and out private investigator, is hired to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a river.
The case stinks of "rivercide" and Mort must find the killer!
He rounds up suspects, including a dairy farmer who feels his water rights are being denied; the People's Water and Power, who is only catering to their customers' demands; a Native American, whose tribe is concerned about the changes in the river affecting his way of life; and the owner of a whitewater outfitting company, who depends on the river for pleasure and business.
Full of wonderful, creative music like "Water is Thicker Than Blood", "Water Flows To Money" and "Partners In Crime".
