Synopsis

Tiffany Johnson, blinded in an auto accident, has been sent to visit her grandparents in the North Woods, where she encounters Robin, a most unusual boy who is cheerful, musical, irreverent and impossible.

Through the lure of his music and his unsympathetic prodding, she learns to read her Braille books, to play the flute, to take an interest in the world around her and, most importantly,to accept her blindness.

Tiffany doesn't know that Robin is not human and tells him that she loves him.

To his surprise, he finds that he loves her, too.

He commands her to fall asleep and tells her only to remember what he has taught her and that "once upon a summertime there was someone who loved you very much."

There's a roll of thunder and, in that split second, Robin offers his life in place of Tiffany's.

Tiffany awakens, never realizing the sacrifice that was made.

A charming tale about the power of true love.

One ext. set.
