Synopsis

Chris Phillips is taking a big risk.

He's quitting his job as a hardware store manager, giving up all material possessions (except a backpack, toothbrush, and razor) and going out into the world to try to live as Jesus did.

What he learns is sometimes thought-provoking and sometimes hilarious.

Ending up being swept into a homeless shelter where he meets his own "disciples," Chris finds that such decisions can matter even today if only in social and metaphorical ways.

Press Reviews

"I keep getting extremely enthusiastic feedback from audience members and the audiences for [the play] keep steadily growing. We have had amazing adventures preparing this production, and have found ourselves encountering our own sense of homelessness and our own community."

— Sanne McCarthy, director at Colorado Christian University
