Love After Death
by Pedro Calderón De La Barca, Roy Campbell

Love After Death

Synopsis

In 1567 the King of Spain issued an edict that forbade Moors the practice of their religion and the use of their ancestral names, and deprived them of all their individual customs.

The Moors secretly conspired, and then revolted, only to be thoroughly suppressed three years afterwards.

It was a sorry conflict, but honor and death were fiercely won.
