A farmer, running for sheriff. 30-40. He is calm, confident, and strong. He is a natural leader who easily commands the respect of those around him.

LEVI HILL

The younger of the two. 20-30. He is kind-hearted, polite, and less confident than his brother.

SHERIFF FELIX JACKSON

A lawman and farm owner. 30-40. Crippled with paranoia and insecurity, he is defensive and relentlessly hostile.

ANNELISE FISCHER

A local girl. 20-30. She is gentle, honest, and kind.

LILLIAN ‘MISS LILY’ DAVENPORT

Daughter of COLONEL DAVENPORT, head of the American Pacific Railroad. 25-35. She is calm, level-headed and aggressively well spoken. She hides her true nature beneath a veneer of polite civility.
