Synopsis
A lake at night.
On a late summer night in 1967 at Grim Lake, in Armitage, a small town in Pendragon County, Ohio, Ben Palestrina (17) is spending one last evening with his friend Meredith Cherry (31) before heading off to college.
She was his babysitter when he was a child, and later, when she had a mental breakdown, he helped her through her roughest times.
Now she wants to give him something before he goes.
