Synopsis

Father Sean Connally, an Irish, Roman Catholic priest, returns to Holy Contrition Catholic Parish, the parish of his youth, to come to a decision about his faith and ministry.
Does he still have faith in God?
Should he continue as a priest if he is doubting?
To come to his decision, he must also come to issue with his feelings for his old flame, Peggy Keenan, a terrific woman who is still in love with him.
His estranged father, Joseph Connally, an old, Irish-Catholic bartender with a unique perspective on life, becomes Sean's valued counselor.
