Aaron Slick - The Musical

Synopsis

Adapted from Aaron Slick from Pumpkin Crick by Lt. Beale Cormack - the most popular rural comedy in the history of American theatre.

Even Life Magazine reports: Abie's Irish Rose, with 2,500 odd performances is a piker compared to Aaron Slick from Pumpkin Crick.

This greatest of all rural comedies has been staged more than 50,000 times.

And now - The Musical!

The story revolves around Mrs. Berry and her quest for some excitement in her life, and her love for Aaron.

It's also about one of the great comic characters written for the stage - Aaron Slick - who faces marriage with caution, evil (Meriden and Gladys) with delicious enthusiasm, and Chicago, in the second act, with wide-eyed naivete.

Tomboy Sis, an amateur private detective with a trunk full of disguises, a chanteuse from Iowa and her assistant round out the cast of wonderfully human, funny characters.

The music is superb and a delight to perform.

Mr. Comeau is the recipient of 5 Clio Awards and has been a Grammy nominee for his album, Monster Hits.
