Wall Spence was a successful American playwright and actor. Broadway credits include THE SUBWAY EXPENSE (Clarke) and his own THE HOUSE OF FEAR, which debuted in 1929. Other writing credits include SHOOTING HIGH, THE MOONSTONE, and an adaptation of "Jane Eyre." He also wrote a one-act play entitled A MESSAGE FROM JOHN.
