Tom Ziegler is a native of Chicago. His play Grace and Glorie was first presented at The Shenandoah Valley Playwrights Retreat under the title Apple Dreams and later went on to a successful off-Broadway run starring Estelle Parsons and Lucie Arnez at the Laura Pels Theatre in 1996. The play was later filmed for television by Hallmark Hall of Fame and starred Gena Rowlands and Diane Lane. Tom coauthored this version, which won the “Christopher Award” presented to films and television which “affirm the highest values of the human spirit.”
