Parker W. Fennelly was born on October 22, 1891, in Northeast Harbor, Maine. He was an actor well known for personifying the New England Yankee. As part of his acting career Fennelly played Titus Moody on Fred Allen’s radio show “Allen's Alley” and was Pepperidge Farm’s television spokesman. In addition to acting, Fennelly was also a noted playwright for his Broadway success CUCKOOS ON THE HEARTH, published by Dramatists Play Service, Inc., which ran from September 16, 1941, to January 3, 1942. On January 22, 1988, he died in Peekskill, NY, at the age of ninety-six.
