Lydia Stryk was born in DeKalb, Illinois (the birthplace of barbed wire and flying ears of corn) and raised between Illinois and London, England, where she trained to be an actress at the Drama Centre. Her plays include MONTE CARLO, THE HOUSE OF LILY, THE GLAMOUR HOUSE, AMERICAN TET, LADY LAY, and AN ACCIDENT. Lydia’s plays have been produced in theaters such as the Denver Center Theatre Company, Steppenwolf, Victory Gardens, the Contemporary American Theatre Festival, the Magic Theatre, and 7 Stages, as well as in Germany and Canada.
