Jo Carson is a writer and performer who lives in Johnson City, Tennessee, with a medium-sized black dog, a horse of a different color, an old green Volvo, and family. She’s written plays for and with a small theatre called The Road Company. She has performed a series of monologues nationally and internationally. A book, "Stories I Ain't Told Nobody Yet," from Orchard Books, New York City, is a collection of that material. DAYTRIPS is, in part, autobiographical.
