PIECES is Hywel John's first play. He is also an actor and trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Recent theatre credits include: THE GLASS MENAGERIE (Clwyd Theatr Cymru); A STAB IN THE DARK (Latitude Festival); MACBETH (Chichester, West End and Broadway); ANGRY YOUNG MAN (Trafalgar Studios, Adelaide Festival, BAC, Edinburgh Festival) and TWELFTH NIGHT (Chichester). Film and TV credits include: "Macbeth" (BBC Films, PBS, and Illuminations); "The IT Crowd" (Channel 4) and "Doctors" (BBC). Hywel splits his time between London and New York.
