Andrew Johns discovered his love of writing while acting as an assistant stage manager on the Broadway production of HOME. As an actor and writer, Johns has enjoyed several decades of success. Acting credits include: “The Merchant of Venice” (1973), “Pride and Prejudice” (1979), and “Shakedown” (1988). Writing credits include FRIDAYS, which debuted at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater in 1981, PIGEONS ON THE WALK, which received its New York premiere in 1984 at the Stage Arts Center, COUNTER TALK, TODAY’S SPECIAL, THE RETURN OF HERBERT BRACEWELL, which debuted at the Chelsea Playhouse in 1982, SIDESHOWS, ANTHONY AND ME, and FRIDAYS, which was presented by the Riverside Shakespeare Company in 1991.
