Albert Beich launched his screenwriting career with “The Perfect Specimen” (1937). His other screenplays include “You Can’t Beat the Law,” “The West Side Kid,” “Gangs of the Waterfront,” “The Bride Goes Wild,” “The Yellow Cab Man,” “The Lieutenant Wore Skirts,” “A Distant Trumpet,” “Dead Ringer,” and “The Perils of Pauline.” In 1958, Beich co-wrote the stage play THE MAN IN THE DOG SUIT with William H. Wright.
