Alan Harris has written plays for theatres throughout the UK and internationally, including Paines Plough, Manchester Royal Exchange, the Sherman Theatre and National Theatre Wales. He won a Judges Award at the Bruntwood Prize for How My Light Is Spent.
Shows at the Edinburgh Fringe have included Love, Lies and Taxidermy (Paines Plough), For All I Care (National TheatreWales) and Sugar Baby (Dirty Protest). He wrote the book for A Scythe of Time at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. The Left Behind was recently broadcast by BBC Three (a BBC Studios commission) and he’s writing new dramas for Hartswood West, Bad Wolf, BBC Studios Wales and a new theatre play for Theatr Clwyd, For The Grace Of You Go I.
He has also written plays for BBC Radio 4 and Radio 3, and Amazon Audible.
