Peter Simon
Warren has left his wife and is staying in the apartment of his friend Susan, a portrait artist.
Susan tries to find out why his marriage ended and he tries to convince her to change her lifestyle: her relationships with men are short lived.
He finally confesses his love for her.
She sees him only as a friend and she tells him he is ordinary.
Warren leaves and ends up with a divorcee not unlike his ex wife.
