Synopsis
A young painter of some repute who's ill retires to an old farmhouse with two elderly relatives.
He's adjusting to his withdrawal from a world he thinks mocks him when unexpectedly his former sweetheart, her present gigolo, and his old teacher who still believes in his talent show up.
There's some ugly confrontations and an unexpected ending.
The New York Times compared the play to Pinter's work.
