Nun's Veiling

Synopsis

Richard Dittling is in a small European capital during a revolution.

He's an arms manufacturer and is soon on friendly terms with the revolutionary leader who actually wants to reestablish the monarchy and gets Richard to smuggle the Queen to England until it is safe for her and the King to return.

The Queen, disguised as a nun, finally reaches Dialing's house.

But he has two very moral servants, a fiance with a formidable mother and an interfering business partner.

The Queen is not a model of discretion and crisis follows crisis and an international incident if feared.

Then the republicans are overthrown and the Queen takes leave of her saviour with whom she is now more than a little in love.
