Synopsis

Cranky M Argan imagines he has every ailment there is.

He plans to marry his daughter to a dull young doctor so he will always have a physician handy.

But Angelique swears she will enter a convent first, for she is in love with the young, handsome Cleante, and so we're off into the Molière world of humorous extravaganzas!
