Richard Herd and Dick Stockton were friends for many years and worked on a number of projects together. Richard's poetry has been published in "MOTH," "Onthebus," "The American Actor," and "Feasting with Panthers." Richard and Ken H. Roberts have written “For Love of Country,” a screenplay based on Roger Casement's life. He directed the West Coast premiere of IDLE WHEELS by James Morrison and codirected the revival of Irwin Shaw's play BURY THE DEAD at Tim Robbin's Theatre, The Actor's Gang. Mr. Herd's other credits include coproducing the 1967 revival of THE COACH WITH THE SIX INSIDES at the East 74th Street Theatre, which earned Vernon Rice and Obie Awards, and IN THE NICK OF TIME at Stage 73. As an actor, Richard is well-known to film, theatre, and television audiences for his long and distinguished career.
