Nat Perrin was an American comedy writer; he contributed gags and story lines to several Marx Brothers films and co-wrote the play HELLZAPOPPIN’ which was adapted into a film. He is credited with writing the screenplay or story for over twenty-five films, including “The Great Morgan” and “Song of the Thin Man.” On television he was the producer of the series “The Addams Family” and produced episodes of other shows as well. A longtime friend of Groucho Marx, for whom he wrote the iconic “Flywheel, Shyster, and Flywheel” radio shows, Perrin became temporary conservator of the comedian's estate in his dying days.
