The Small War in Corridor 'A'
by Dick Dotterer

Highlights
Synopsis
Addison High School and Springdale High are archrivals in the annual homecoming football game.
But the boys take the rivalry well beyond the gridiron, and the girls of both schools feel that each year the feud grows more and more absurd.
Things must change, and fast!
Taking her cue from Lysistrata, Cassie Blake leads the girls in a stunning rebellion against male domination as they lock themselves into, and the boys and their coach out of, the gym, the locker rooms and the equipment room.
The determined young ladies say they won't have anything to do with the equally determined young men until there is complete and unconditional surrender.
The ensuing wild, chaotic antics in Corridor "A" affect everyone, including the Addison lovebirds, whom no one thinks can be pried apart except with a crowbar.
Both performers and audience will readily identify with this unique comedy - one that has much to say about the roles of leadership in today's society.
This is a delightful play in which young people create, face and eventually solve their own problems.
And all to uproarious laughter.
