The Lion's Den Was Never Like This
by Earl Reimer

Synopsis
A light-hearted treatment of the classic story of Daniel in the Lion's Den, using an imaginative presentation.
The play tells how Daniel, though in a strange land with strange customs, served the true and living God only to be caught violating the religious laws of a foreign land.
Though the king of this hostile country liked Daniel, he had no choice but to follow his decree: feed to the lions anybody disobeying the law.
Daniel's faith (and an angel) kept him from becoming the lions' snack.
This charming short play from one of our most popular Christian playwrights is suitable for production for children as well as adults, and has proven enormously popular on tour.
