Temptation (Winn)
by Václav Havel, Marie Winn

Synopsis
Dr. Faustka works in a secret government department that is dedicated to ridding the community of superstition and magic.
Ironically described as an artificial combination of all well known versions of Faust, the doctor is a bon viveur who is tired of life.
He is seduced by his intellect into conjuring up the supernatural in this satirical warning against distorted political belief and the uncontrollable glorification of science and technology.
