Synopsis
Set in 1894 at the height of America's westward movement, the play portrays four Pennsylvania sisters who decide to move in the opposite direction.
As the play opens they are prepared to leave their farm and birthplace to move to England.
Lyrical flashbacks dramatize their tender and frustrating romances.
