Synopsis
Rosalinda is an English-language adaptation of Johann Strauss II’s operetta Die Fledermaus .
In late nineteenth-century Vienna, a gentleman named Falke sets up an elaborate joke on his friend Eisenstein, as payback for a practical joke Eisenstein had played years before.
The joke soon gets out of hand, leading to numerous disguises, mistaken identity, secret romances and false imprisonment.
In the end, Falke comes clean, Eisenstein loves the joke, lovers are joined, and all is made right.
