Post-Oedipus
by Steven Gridley

Synopsis
Post-Oedipus is a radical re-working of Euripides' play The Phoenician Women, chronicling the tumultuous events of Oedipus' family after his fall.
Warped time, visual images, musical interjections, chaotic revelries, and intolerable silences are all used to unravel the mental state of the family after disaster.
Structured around a photo album, Post-Oedipus, uses large frames to “capture” the family in pictures which they fawn over, attempting to glorify themselves in the midst of their turmoil.
