In My Mind's Eye
by Doug Haverty

Synopsis
Patty, a student of 13, and Trish, a teacher of 26, are legally blind but refuse to be handicapped.
Each girl's story is told in separate scenes that eventually blend with a realization that Patty and Trish are one person.
We meet the men in her/their lives and explore Patricia's relationship with her mother.
Occasionally, the actresses playing Patty and Trish switch places and we see glimpses of a maturing Patty or a seemingly childish Trish.
This is a story of self acceptance, courage and, above all, a story of love.
