Synopsis
Ten young Norwegian immigrants are stranded in the middle of the Dakota prairie during the long winter of 1880-81.
Hunger, cold, and cabin fever fuel deep tensions that threaten the survival of their isolated community.
With supplies running low and spring more than two months away, the teenaged settlers consider their dire circumstances.
Who is at fault?
Who can be trusted?
And who, if anyone, will be forced to take the perilous journey to town, 100 miles away?
