LX & Video 3 at Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

 

Everybody’s Talking About Jamie are looking for a full-time LX & Video 3 to join the team on the No. 1 UK Tour, touring from 11th January 2027 until 24th July 2027. 

 

Description: They will report to the Head of LX & Video.

The LX & Video 3 will manage and call cues for local follow-spot operators, manage the video elements of the production on get ins and outs, plus during show running as well as assisting the LX 1, LX 2 and Production LX in running the fit-up and get-out as required. They will be required to deputise and provide cover to LX 2 during the show run and to cover any reasonable LX duties where necessary as well as acquire a familiarity with all plots within the department so that they can provided holiday or absence cover as required.

They will also be required to assist with rig check and maintenance, assist with compiling and keeping updated show paperwork, attend rehearsals, maintenance calls and any emergency calls in the event of equipment failure or incident.

 

Ideal candidates will have the skill to maintain the Production as instructed by the creative team in line with the artistic requirements and direction of the Production as well as great technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and clear and confident communication.

 

Experience: Candidates must have experience in a similar role in professional theatre, ideally on large-scale musicals.

 

Fee: The weekly fee is in line the UKT/BECTU agreement.
