To the Table

Synopsis
Jan and her daughter Leah sit at the kitchen table and have a brief conversation while eating ice cream.
Leah leaves, and we then rewind to the beginning of their meeting, but this time in those familiar lapses of silence, their true feelings and memories are heard.
With a twist of humor, audiences are given an honest glimpse into the difficulty of parent and child relationships -- the practice of letting go, not getting too close, and ultimately, the process of understanding one another.
