Synopsis

Odysseus won the Trojan War twenty years ago, but he still has yet to arrive home from his victory.

From a raging Cyclops to a beautiful woman who wants to keep him for her own pleasure, and even a pair of pushy parents who want him to marry their daughter, his journey has been one full of obstacles.

As if he needed even more trouble, a group of rowdy suitors have overrun his palace and tried to take his wife, Penelope.

Will Odysseus ever reach home and be reunited with his beloved wife and son?

This is a condensed and comical version of Homer's classic.

(This play can also be performed as part of the full-length play The Odyssey, Oedipus, and Others or Greek Story Theatre .)
